[vmips] VMIPS 1.2 release candidate available

Hello out there!

For the first time in more than half a year, there's a new VMIPS
release candidate. You can check it out at the URL:

	http://www.dgate.org/vmips/releases/vmips-1.2/vmips-1.2-rc1.tar.gz

Please let me know if you have any trouble with it, so that I can
correct or document the problems before I make the release.  I will
make the release in a few days if I don't get any complaints.

In related news, I've tagged the branch for VMIPS 1.2; you can now
check out from CVS using the tag vmips-1_2-branch and get updates
to the new stable VMIPS source base as they are made. I do not
expect to make any further updates to vmips-1_1-branch.
