[vmips] Re: Linux on VMIPS?

Thanks for the info.  My VMIPS only gets to the point where it issues
the "afraid of the dark" message and then hangs.  I built gdb-insight
from the 6.1 sources to help debug this puppy, but gdb-insight wants
an input program when you start it and there are 2 input programs
here.  I can load boot.exe into it _or_ vmlinux, not both, so it has
been a bit frustrating tracing the interaction.

When it hangs it encouters a SIGEMT trap with $pc = 0x80040080
(vmlinux load address 0x80040000) and cause = 0x1c.  Not sure what
those mean.  I'm going to try the kernel source from linux-mips.org
and your config file next.  I have been leery of the
www.linux-mips.org site because the very first time I visited there I
found all the links at the top of the Documentaion page were broken. 
But I'll give their source a shot.  I saw the patch you submitted the
other day, Brian, so I'll bear that in mind when I build it.
